The Price We Pay

I told you how we had gotten a reprieve from gas prices, well, lawd, the prices have gone further south, gone a penny below $2.  I only needed a 1/4 tank, but had to top up, had to know what under $2 gas felt like.  It's been all of 16 year.

If gas prices have gone south, why is it that everything else has increased exponentially?  Grocery, meat, produce.  Last time at the supermarket when the cashier said $109.24, for my two bags of groceries, I asked for what.  She pointed out that the toilet paper by itself was $17.99 for a package of 12 and I had two.  I told you before I have paper, if no food in my house, however, I am stocking up for the next wave.  It's not if, it's when.
