Dumb, Demented or Dead

Which will you choose, a dumb child(ren), a demented you or one or all of you being dead.

Harsh words, but now that I have your attention...

Two of them, you can do something about, the other is final, and yet you can do something about it.

You think schools should reopen.  Would you really want to chance that given the news about the disease and how it's affecting children?  If it happens that your child may have to repeat a grade, is that so bad?  Which would you really choose?  Need help with your child(ren)'s school work?  Contact the school, Ask someone for help. They can do it by Facetime, Skype or Zoom.  Learn the subject yourself.  Learn along with your children.  Sign up for online classes.  Read.  Don't give up trying.

Feeling stressed?  Consult with a therapist; sessions can be done virtually.  Go for a walk or ride.  Talk to someone. As places begin to open, will you choose to go to crowded malls, beauty salons, bars, playgrounds, restaurants?  They may help to relieve your stress, however, will any of it be worth the cost?  Can you be safe in these and other places?

You make choices for yourself and your children when you go about without a face mask, without washing your hands, not social distancing.

I know that not everyone dies from the virus, I am living proof, but too many have.  Do you really want to roll the dice?  You don't know how this beast of a virus will affect you and/or your family.  The numbers are doing down, but a new wave is predicted.  Please don't add to it.  Don't become a casualty of it.

Choose life

  1. Hard choices here. It will take creativity and flexibility to get through this. Especially when we hear news that we will never get rid of this virus. Our society will need to make a lot of adjustments. xox Heather! You rock.

  2. People need to wake up and smell the coffee. There is no price on a life no matter what it takes
